Kathy Irene Flores, 45, of Winters, Texas, passed away, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Kathy was born July 12, 1969 in Santa Anna, Texas to Fidencio and Julia Gonzales. Kathy married Luis Flores on October 6, 1984. Kathy was employed at the United States Agriculture for 24 years. During this time she made long lasting friendships with many of her co-workers. Her father, Fidencio Gonzales and her husband, Luis Flores preceded her in death. Kathy is survived by a daughter, Veronica Cantu and her husband, Theo Cantu; a son Luis Adrian Flores, Jr.; her mother, Julia Gonzales; two sisters, Nancy Ramos and Sylvia Gonzales; two brothers, James and Arnold Gonzales; several aunts and uncles; as well as, a niece, nephews and extended family. Kathy was a devoted wife, a thoughtful friend and most of all a loving mother. She enjoyed taking care of animals, reading, watching movies and spending time with her loved ones. Her presence will forever be missed.
